  1. Ok, you’re definitely doing my newborn photos. You make everyone look good!

  2. HOW did you get the lighting that way with the fire dancer??? Exquisite! And I love the feet pictures, and all of them really.

  3. Really cool people shots! You must get lots of people who want you to do their portraits. Maybe I’ll just fly my family up to Pennsylvania. lol!

  4. Wow. They’re all amazing!

  5. Thank you so much, everyone! I’m sorry it took so long to answer, but to say I’ve been swamped is an understatement!

@Chris: The lighting on the fire dancer is an interesting little story: There were maybe a dozen photographers all around this man, and many of them were using flash. Their flash interfered with the exposures I was trying to get, since we were all shooting at the same time, so I thought “if you can’t fight ’em, join ’em.” I set a slow exposure (using a tripod and cable release) and when this picture was taken, the bursts of light from the others’ flashes showed up in my pictures, lighting the grass and side-lighting the man’s frame beautifully. The same thing happened with the 2nd picture of this man, but I cropped the grass out of that frame.
